November 17 is Organization Day for the 2021 Indiana General Assembly. New legislators will be sworn in today for what is sure to be a challenging legislative session.

The 2021 session will look and feel different with the House relocating to a larger space in the government center, legislators wearing face masks, and hearings largely being conducted virtually. There are also additional bill limits in the House, which usually don’t occur in a long session.
Regardless of the way the session looks, there are two main objectives this year that must be accomplished: passing a two-year budget for the state and redistricting based on the 2020 census data.

VGTs for Indiana will continue to work with legislators to legalize video gaming terminals in Indiana. Learn more about how you can get involved at https://www.vgtsforindiana.org/take-action.
