2022 Session Wrap-Up


The 2022 legislative session concluded last week. VGTs were not adopted this year, but much ground was made as the VGT Coalition builds support for the bill. Please continue to contact your legislator to tell them why VGTs are important to your business.


Gaming was not in the forefront of this short session, but the legislature did pass House Bill 1260, which will prohibit the Hoosier Lottery from implementing iLottery (online lottery) without legislative approval. This will therefore be an issue the legislature takes up next year.


When we embarked on the task of passing VGTs in Indiana, we knew it would be an uphill, long-term process. We appreciate the thousands of advocates that have continued on this road with us. With your voices, VGTs will be in Indiana’s future.
