This short-session of the Indiana General Assembly is almost half over with a flurry of activity in the first few weeks. Due to the reluctance from leadership to look at any gaming issues, a VGT bill was not filed for this session. An iGaming bill (HB 1337) was introduced by Representative Morrison, however it is unlikely to get much traction. We will monitor the progress of this bill and should it get a hearing or move forward we will be there to talk about why VGTs should be included in any expansion of gaming for the benefit of thousands of Hoosier small businesses.
VGTs for Indiana continue to talk to legislators growing support for VGTs. Our team of supportive legislators continues to grow and these allies will work within the General Assembly to get traction for a VGT bill next year.
